Chi l'ha detto che la saggezza viene con l'età? Io conosco la prova vivente che si puo' essere in pieno possesso delle proprie facoltà mentali ed essere saggi ed avere un incredibile buon gusto anche all'età di 6 anni.
Due giorni fa mi è arrivato un bel gesto di apprezzamento: pacchetto dall'Inghilterra, da parte di due persone che non ho mai incontrato, ma con le quali ho condiviso un evento meraviglioso : il concerto di Manchester del 13/11/2004. Le due persone in questione sono Alice Price, che è ritratta nelle foto di Manchester sul palco con Michael, e della sua mamma Ruth.
Il pacchetto conteneva un CD di foto di Michael e i ragazzi on stage e un badge e una spilletta da indossare ai meeting dei Fans di Michael. La cosa però che mi ha intenerito piu di tutto e che mi ha fatto capire che il buon gusto non ha età è stata una nota scritta a mano in fondo alla lettera di Ruth, che credo sia una delle cose piu' dolci e carine che abbia mai visto in vita mia. Who said that wisdom comes with age? I know the living proof that one can have a strong definition of self, and be clear on one's passions and have impeccable taste even at 6 years of age.
A couple days ago I got a nice display of affection : a package from UK, from two people that I've never actually met in person, but whom I've shared a quite remarkable event with : the gig at Manchester's Carling Apollo Theatre on November 13th, 2004. These two people are Alice Price (that you can admire on stage with Michael in the pics page dedicated to the event), and her mommy, Ruth.
The package contained a cd full of pics of Michael and the boys on stage, a white ribbon badge sporting "Michael Buble" on it, and a pin that says "Sylvergirlie - Webmistress of Bublelicious" to be worn at Michael's fans meetings. What really really got to me tho, and made me realize that good taste is ageless, was a hand-scribbled note at the end of Ruth's letter, that's one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my entire life.
Alice, my precious Bublecutie, I'll make sure Michael gets your message as soon as possible. I hope to meet you at one of his concerts in the next european tour, so we can take a pic together with him. He's gotta be thankful to have such loyal fans :) Love ya, babe!
